1. Scope of Services

Call Us Electric provides residential and commercial electrical contracting services, including but not limited to:

• Service upgrades and panel conversions (fuse to breaker).
• Small electrical jobs, wiring repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Rec room, basement, and renovation wiring.
• Electrical service calls, inspections, and maintenance.

All electrical work is conducted by certified electricians in compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC) and local Ontario regulatory standards.

2. Service Estimates, Quotes & Pricing

• Estimates: Initial cost estimates provided over the phone, via email, or through website contact forms are non binding approximations based on the details provided by the client.
• Binding Quotes: Final written quotes are provided after an on-site physical evaluation. Any modifications or unexpected hidden structural/electrical hazards discovered during work will be discussed prior to proceeding.
• Pricing & Payments: Prices are quoted in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes (HST). Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

3. Client Obligations & Site Access

To ensure the safe and timely completion of requested work, the client agrees to:

• Provide our electricians with clear, safe, and unobstructed access to the work area, main panel, utility connections, and property.
• Ensure children and pets are kept at a safe distance from active work zones and exposed electrical equipment.
• Secure necessary permissions or property owner approvals if the site is a rental or leased facility.

4. Cancellations & Service Calls

• Service Call Fees: Standard service call rates apply once a technician is dispatched to your property.
• Cancellations: We request at least 24 hours’ advance notice for cancellations or rescheduling of scheduled service appointments. Failure to provide notice may incur a standard dispatch or cancellation fee.

5. Permits & Inspections

When required by local Ontario regulations or the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA), Call Us Electric will file for the necessary permits for major panel upgrades or heavy rewiring work. Inspection fees, where applicable, will be clearly itemized in your service agreement.

6. Warranties & Workmanship

Call Us Electric guarantees that all services will be performed with professional care, safety standards, and skilled craftsmanship.

• Workmanship Warranty: We offer a limited warranty on our labor for a period specified in your final service invoice.
• Materials & Products: Parts, fixtures, and materials supplied by Call Us Electric carry the original manufacturer’s warranty. Products purchased directly by the client are not covered under our labor warranty.

7. Limitation of Liability

Call Us Electric, its owners, and technicians shall not be held liable for:

• Pre-existing electrical hazards, faulty customer supplied equipment, or unpermitted legacy wiring installed prior to our service.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from power outages beyond our control or utility grid fluctuations.
• Delays caused by acts of nature, severe weather conditions, supply chain interruptions, or utility provider downtime.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, Call Us Electric owns the intellectual property rights for all content, copy, text, and imagery published on this website. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may view and print pages from the website for your own personal use, subject to restrictions set in these terms.
